CEB Solutions Student Scholarship
The CEB Solutions Scholarship is established to support the education aspirations of students whose parents are employed at Christian Education Benefit Solutions Plan member schools. This scholarship aims to recognize and reward students who have demonstrated a commitment to social justice and/or environmental sustainability, aligning with the values of Christian Education.
By recognizing their contributions to social justice and/or environmental sustainability, and advancing God's Kingdom, we aim to inspire future leaders who will continue to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Eligibility
Applicants must be children of current CEB Solutions Plan participants. Applicants can be attending any secondary school but their parent must be an employee at a CEB Solutions Plan participating school.
Applicants must be secondary school students in their final year, accepted to and entering their first year of postsecondary education at an accredited college or university in Canada.
Application Details
Students will submit proof of acceptance to an accredited college or university in Canada, along with a statement of their intended area of study during their scholarship year.
Along with an accompanying 250-500 word essay demonstrating their contributions to social justice and/or environmental sustainability.
A letter of recommendation from a teacher, supervisor, or director is not a requirement, but may be submitted optionally to provide additional insight into the applicant's commitment in these areas.

1. for students living in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut
2. for students living Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador, and the Maritime provinces
How is the Scholarship Funded?
The scholarship is funded by annual contributions from Connor, Clark, & Lunn (CC&L) and Global Alpha who are Canadian Investment Managers for CEB Solutions trust funds.
Qualifying Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate significant contributions to social justice and/or environmental sustainability, aligning with the values of Christian education. Examples could include volunteer work, community projects, mission trips, innovative solutions addressing global challenges, or any work that exemplifies a student's commitment to a Christian worldview and the advancement of God's Kingdom on earth.
Application Reporting
Recipients are required to provide feedback on how their educational experience during the scholarship year has helped build their ideas and convictions on social justice and/or environmental sustainability, within a year following their scholarship reception. This feedback will be used for CEB Solutions communications and to promote the scholarship's impact.
I'm A Parent
As the parent of an applicant, you must be an employee at either (or both) a Christian Education Health Plan (CEHP) or Christian Education Pension Plan (CEPP) participating school or organization in Canada.
Your participation in the Plans makes your graduating student eligible to apply.
How Will My Child Receive Notice?
Our committee will notify the student's graduating school directly sometime in early June and will forward their scholarship earnings to their high school or college/university as appropriate.
What If I Am On Leave?
A leave of any kind does not negate employment. If you are able to demonstrate proof of employment with a record, your student is eligible.
Retirement is not a leave and is demonstrative of a termination of employment. Therefore, your child would not be eligible if you are retired.
